We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Scheduling Coordinator within our PMRI clinic located in Scarborough, Ontario. In this role, you will assist the Manger, Group Leaders and/or designate of Pharma Medica Research Inc. (PMRI) in planning for clinical schedules, including study schedule and staff schedule and to ensure that clinic procedures are performed in a timely manner. This position's main responsibility is to complete the daily study schedule and weekly staff schedule on time, according to protocol, staff availability and staff capability. This position reports to the VP, Clinical Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in planning the timely execution of studies.
- Generate daily study schedule according to protocol and clinic calendar.
- Generate weekly staff/Investigator schedule according to staff/Investigator availability and capability.
- Ensure all study schedules are accurate according to protocols, SOPs and GCP.
- Assist in clinic space arrangement and training clinic MLAs, CSA, and Group Leaders.
- Perform Group Leaders' tasks as assigned when it is needed.
- Other duties as required.
Job Knowledge
Minimum level of academic or formalized training:
- Bachelor's degree with adequate knowledge in conducting clinical trials and office administration.
- Excellent computer skills (esp. in MS Office).
Minimum amount of practical work experience:
- Working knowledge of Phase I study protocols and conduct.
- Understanding of the GCP guidelines and SOPs.
- Hands on experience with all clinical procedures.
