Looking for candidates interested in working on the planning/scheduling of work on a large Engineering Design project. Reporting to the Senior planner, the Junior planner will work with the Monark Design Leads to create and maintain a detailed schedule to support EPC.

Prepare and develop complex engineering schedules using Primavera (P6) and/or MS Visio.

Prepare reports for management regarding project scheduling activities.

Work with Engineering Leads on scheduling activities and assist them in determining schedule priorities.

Provide support to other planners.

Develop and maintain project schedules, and resource plans utilizing project management techniques and software.

Interface with engineering personnel, project management and other performing organizations to assess and report project progress, as required.

Facilitate the development of remedial action plans.

Engineering student preferred, minimum 2nd year or higher.

Prior construction or engineering experience would be an asset.

Familiar with MS Office suite, and in particular expertise with MS Visio is required.

Knowledge of Primavera P6 would be beneficial, but not mandatory. Selected candidate will be provided training.

Knowledge of Power plant technology and CANDU nuclear generating stations will be beneficial to the position.
