We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

- Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ functional independence and quality of life.
- Implement therapeutic activities using evidence-based techniques tailored to each patient's goals.
- Monitor and document patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety measures for continued improvement at home.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practices through ongoing professional development.
Skills
- Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage patients of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education.
- Proficiency in developing personalized therapy plans based on individual assessments.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of each patient.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Registration with ACOT
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 3 years professional experience
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Criminal Record Check
- Vulnerable Sector Check
Preferred:
- Community rehabilitation experience
- Developmental disability experience
- Mental health experience
- Housing and accessibility assessment experience
- Complex needs experience
Pay: $45.00-$65.00 per hour
