Purpose of Job:
-
Maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.
Principal Accountabilities:
-
Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move material by hand or using material handling equipment
-
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
-
Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
-
Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.

Create and Maintain work instructions and Narratives
-
Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipping and stock warehousing
-
Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments
-
Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures, and regulatory compliance procedures
-
Conduct daily and preventative maintenance checks
-
Clean and maintain machines and work areas
-
Work well with minimal supervision
-
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:

Inspect equipment and the workplace regularly.

Be alert for hazards.

Immediately report unsafe work practices and conditions to your supervisor.

Report accidents, near misses, injuries, or illnesses immediately to your supervisor.

Cooperate with others on matters relating to occupational safety and health.
Knowledge, Skills and Education:
-
Completion of secondary school or equivalent or 1-3 years in Manufacturing.

Ability to use Mechanical Inspection Tools (Tape Measure, Calipers), Power Tools
-
Good Written and Oral communication, Problem solving, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing, Significant use of memory;
-
Ability to find information and continuous learning.

High level of detail accuracy, manual dexterity, and hand-eye co-ordination;
-
Proficient with Technology, Reading text, Document use, Numeracy;

Ability to work as a team/independent;
-
Ability to work in a safe and orderly manner.

Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written.
