We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing high-quality meal preparation and excellent food safety standards. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
- Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with food handling regulations within the food industry is a plus
- Experience in serving or working directly with customers is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
