Description:
We are looking for an experienced Product Owner/Manager for a long-term contract. The ideal candidate would have 6+ years experience in this field.
Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable user stories and features.
- Create and maintain detailed requirements documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it contains well-defined and actionable items.
- Collaborate with the development team to refine and estimate backlog items based on business value, technical feasibility, and resource constraints.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Collaborate with the development team to plan and schedule product releases, considering scope, timelines, and resource availability.
- Engage with stakeholders, customers, and users to gather feedback, understand their needs, and incorporate their input into the product development process.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with business requirements and technical constraints.
- Analyze and document existing business processes and workflows, proposing improvements and optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Plan and execute UAT activities, including test case creation, test execution, and defect tracking, to validate that the system meets the business requirements.
- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure adequate test coverage and support the resolution of identified issues.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders and end-users to ensure successful adoption of the software products.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, system enhancements, and optimization of business operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in product ownership/management, business systems analysis, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile frameworks, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Relevant certifications in Agile and SAFe methodologies, such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or SAFe Business Analyst (SAB) are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Proficiency in requirements elicitation and documentation techniques, such as use cases, user stories, and process modeling.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
