Breslau Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our friendly and professional team on Tuesdays 12-8pm. Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health of patients
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and treatment plans
- Assist with patient education regarding dental procedures and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient treatments using Dentrix dental software
- Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
- Manage patient appointments efficiently and provide excellent customer service
- Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and operatories in compliance with infection control protocols
- Assist with pediatric patients when necessary, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, team members, and other healthcare providers using medical terminology
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is required
- Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software preferred
- Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus but not mandatory
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures, medical terminology, and customer service principles
- Prior experience working with children or special needs patients will be advantageous
