Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Drywall Finisher to join our growing construction team. The ideal candidate has experience in residential and commercial interior finishing, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
This position involves drywall finishing, surface preparation, sanding, patching, and final touch-ups to deliver clean, professional results on renovation and construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply tape, joint compound, and finishing materials to drywall seams and joints
- Sand and smooth surfaces for painting and final finishing
- Repair damaged drywall and perform patchwork when required
- Read and follow blueprints, measurements, and project instructions
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Work closely with other trades on construction and renovation projects
- Perform caulking and detail finishing around openings and edges
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Follow company safety procedures and quality standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Drywall Finisher or Interior Finishing Specialist
- Strong knowledge of drywall finishing techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic knowledge of painting, carpentry, and construction practices is an asset
- Ability to read blueprints and measurements
- Reliable transportation is preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
