Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. This role involves performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks on vehicles, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Automotive Technician will utilize mechanical knowledge, hand tools, power tools, and schematics to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle issues. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment dedicated to vehicle excellence and customer service. Steering, Suspension and brakes certification also accepted.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs performed and parts used
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics using advanced electronic testing equipment
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and complies with safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly
Experience
- Relevant automotive repair experience is essential
- Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive systems
- Hands-on experience with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes preferred
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in an automotive setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts handling
- Prior experience working with automotive diagnostics software is advantageous
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills is required for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.64-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
