Hyseco is Canadian family owned and operated with an experienced technical sales, design, and service staff. We have the capabilities to design, build, install and commission custom hydraulic power units or packages. Our service staff can handle field plumbing, system flushing and component or system repairs. Located in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, Hyseco has been serving the local industry since 1968. With our large product lines, Hyseco is your one stop shop for all hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Our 20,000 square foot facility, complete with a full machine shop gives us the tools to produce results. We are looking for a motivated, customer orientated individual to add to our team in the role of Technical Inside Salesperson to our team.
Job function:
· Service customers by providing product, design and engineering information.
· Providing system solutions, resolving product and service problems.
· Quoting customers.
· Managing/assisting large scale projects through the shop.
· Provide technical assistance to the shop on components repairs and quote customers.
Responsibilities:
· Work with our Technical and Shop Services lead.
· Attract potential customers and service existing customers by answering product and design questions, offering support and suggesting information about Hyseco’s product line and service capabilities.
· Design, coordinate, and manage large and small scale hydraulic and pneumatic projects with Hyseco service technicians.
· Providing technical service & support to customers as well as selling our service capabilities: repairs, manufacturing, testing, onsite service work/troubleshooting.
· Assist clients and Hyseco technicians as required on-site for start-ups and installs.
Technical support to Hyseco Employees in all aspects of engineering design - AutoCAD design and mechanical design.
· Standardize, administer, and train Hyseco employees on the use of AutoCAD drawings
· Maintain customer records by updating engineering information
· Recommend potential products or services to customer from collected customer information and analyzing customer needs. You will prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.
· Product training for both Hyseco staff and customers
· Collaborate with all sales staff to promote new sale opportunities and inquires
Education/Experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years in direct and/or distributor sales of industrial technical products. (Required)
- Experience with hydraulic products.
- Ability to read and draw system schematics.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
- Strong computer skills a must.
This position is an onsite role, requiring you to be in the office daily. It will include site visits to assist customers or provide technical assistance for installations. We offer competitive compensation along with paid holiday time, health/dental benefits, profit sharing, and an RRSP match program. Salary is dependent on industry experience.
Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
