QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIANCE
- Must hold a valid CWB Certificate in FCAW, SMAW
- 5+ years of experience in a fabrication shop required
- Self-motivated individuals, with strong attention to detail, who take pride in producing quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a TEAM efficiently, and safely in a fast-paced shop environment
- Good communication skills, both written and oral
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Welding of Carbon steel Using GMAW, FCAW, MCAW, SMAW (some Stainless Steel)
- Read, interpret and work off drawings
- Fit and tack projects of all sizes, schedules and material grades
- Material preparation such as flame cutting, grinding, gauging, and plasma cutting
- Operate overhead cranes
- Comply with Quality and Safety standards
- Be an active participant in the company’s safety program
