Overview
The Office Administrator working under the direction of the Senior Accountant plays a vital role in supporting administrative and operational functions. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
You’ll work closely with the accounting, service, parts, and sales teams to ensure efficient office operations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails professionally.
- Maintain and organize physical and electronic filing systems.
- Assist with data entry in the company’s ERP and accounting systems.
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes by preparing and organizing documentation.
- Prepare other administrative documents.
- Coordinate office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Help maintain accurate customer and vendor information in company systems.
- Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of office administration or clerical experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP or accounting software is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in dealership, construction, or equipment industries is considered an asset.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support various teams.
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
