Horst Systems is hiring multiple Millwright Labourers to work alongside our construction crews building grain handling systems across the province. If you’re mechanically inclined, have SMAW experience, can work at heights, and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.
This is more than a just a job—it’s a hands-on position where you’ll be involved in equipment installation, mechanical assembly, and millwright-style work. You’ll solve problems on the ground and at heights, ensuring projects are delivered safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do:
- Assemble and install grain handling systems (millwrighting, equipment work). Training will be provided.
- Follow direction from the Foreman, Project Manager, and or Operation Managers
- Travel to job sites across Ontario (occasional overnight stays as needed with travel and meal expenses paid)
- Work safely at heights of 50 Meters (fall protection training provided)
- Use tools and machinery (forklifts, telehandlers, welders—training available)
- Maintain a safe, respectful job site and support your crew
- Participate in training for safe work practices, use of equipment, tools and job techniques
- Contribute to the team with a positive attitude and continue to develop a great working culture, with an emphasis on health and safety

Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience working in agriculture, farming or similar industry
- Have completed a Millwright 433A (Industrial Stream) or similar program
- CWB weld certification or welding experience in SMAW
