Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist & IT Systems Consultant (Private Psychology Practice – GTA)

We are looking for a versatile professional to manage our digital growth while ensuring our practice infrastructure is highly secure, efficient, and compliant with Ontario healthcare regulations.
Role Overview
This comprehensive role merges Website Development, Local SEO, Digital Marketing and IT/Systems Management. The ideal candidate will build a modern online presence to attract clients while simultaneously managing our back-end technical operations, email security, and practice management software (Jane App)integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: IT Infrastructure & Data Security
- Compliant Workspace Setup: Configure and maintain a secure Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environment tailored for healthcare professionals.
- Privacy & Encryption: Ensure all practice email accounts, file storage, and data communications utilize end-to-end encryption.
- Hardware & Network Support: Provide basic troubleshooting for local hardware (laptops, printers) and secure router configurations for remote or office environments.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement automatic, secure, encrypted cloud backup solutions for practice files to prevent data loss.
Phase 2: Website Design, Development & Integration
- Design & Build: Create a secure, modern, mobile-responsive website (WordPress preferred).
- Practice Software Integration: Seamlessly connect the website with Canadian-compliant electronic medical record (EMR) software (e.g., Jane App, Owl Practice) for secure scheduling and intake.
- Secure Web Forms: Deploy secure, encrypted web contact forms to protect incoming personal health information.
Phase 3: Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Marketing
- Local SEO: Optimize our Google Business Profile to rank highly in localized searches across the GTA (e.g., "Psychologist in Mississauga", "CBT therapy Toronto").
- On-Page & Technical SEO: Optimize website metadata, speed, and mobile usability while executing an ethics-compliant local keyword strategy.
- Analytics Tracking: Deploy Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with strict privacy controls to monitor traffic and conversions safely.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Dual Expertise: Proven experience in both web development/digital marketing and IT system administration.
- Healthcare Compliance Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of PHIPA/PIPEDA compliance guidelines regarding client data, email encryption, and secure cloud storage in Ontario.
- Ethics-First Approach: Absolute alignment with the advertising and confidentiality guidelines of the CPBAO (College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario).
- Systems Experience: Direct experience configuring secure clinic software, Google Workspace/M365, and firewall setups.
- Location: Based in the GTA market and geographic search behaviors.
