We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Shop Assistant to join our team. This role will support our lead technician with daily shop operations, including assisting with repairs and maintenance, keeping the shop clean and organized, moving vehicles and equipment as needed, and helping ensure jobs are completed efficiently and safely.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, able to work independently, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Previous automotive, heavy equipment, or mechanical experience is considered an asset but is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with vehicle and equipment repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized shop
- Help with parts handling and inventory
- Move vehicles and equipment as required
- Perform general labour and shop duties
- Follow all safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Mechanical aptitude is an asset
