We operate out of the Ryley/Holden area and work on remote job sites across Alberta. Our crews are small, tight‑knit teams that take pride in doing the job right, with no shortcuts from start to finish.
The opportunity
We are looking for a Siding Installer to join our construction crew. This is a full‑time, permanent position installing metal siding and cladding on post‑frame and steel‑frame buildings across rural Alberta.
You’ll work hands‑on outdoors, travelling with the crew to farm and commercial sites and helping complete the building envelope: siding, cladding, trims and related components.
What you’ll do
- Read blueprints, drawings and work orders to determine layout and installation procedures for exterior siding and metal cladding on post‑frame and steel‑frame buildings.
- Measure and mark guidelines for installation of siding panels, trims, flashings and related components.
- Install, repair and service exterior products including metal siding, trims, soffits, fascia, eavestroughs and related cladding systems using hand and power tools.
- Install, repair and service interior prefabricated products such as doors, windows and other building components when required by the project.
- Load and unload trucks with siding, trims, tools and equipment; keep work areas clean and organized.
- Erect and install scaffolding, ladders and other working platforms in compliance with safety regulations.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including fall protection and proper use of PPE.
What you bring
- Secondary (high) school completion or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year full‑time experience installing exterior siding, metal cladding or similar prefabricated building products.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons, at heights and in rural locations across Alberta.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to our yard in the Ryley/Holden area, or willingness to relocate.
- Ability to read and understand basic drawings and work orders and to communicate clearly with supervisors and crew.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail and willingness to be part of a small, hard‑working team.
Work environment & schedule
- Full‑time, permanent position (generally 30–40 hours per week, with overtime during busy periods).
- Work is on remote job sites across Alberta; travel with the crew is required.
- Accommodation and daily live‑out allowance may be provided when working away from home base, depending on the project, similar to our other construction crew positions.
- Physically demanding work including lifting, climbing, kneeling and working at heights.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage starting at $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Overtime in accordance with Alberta Employment Standards.
- Employer‑provided hotels and daily allowance when working away from home base on remote projects (as applicable).
- Free parking at the yard; transportation from yard to job sites provided when travelling as a crew.
