Position Overview
The City of Kamloops is seeking an experienced and motivated permanent, full-time Project Delivery Supervisor to lead the planning, delivery, and oversight of municipal infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, this role is responsible for supervising project staff, managing capital construction projects from concept to completion, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with municipal standards and industry best practices.

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Registered Professional Engineer or Registered Engineering Technologist.
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from a recognized university.
- Minimum three years’ experience in design construction inspection and project management.
- Previous supervisory experience, specifically of staff engaged in the construction of diverse capital projects.
- Demonstrated experience writing detailed reports and performing financial/statistical analysis and cost estimates.
- Working theoretical and practical knowledge of the construction industry and maintenance of all above and below-ground works typically encountered in a municipality.
- Working knowledge of project management and civil engineering principles and practices as applied to the planning, design, construction and maintenance of municipal infrastructure.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, including WCB regulations and the Builders Lien Act.
- Knowledge of CCDC and MMCD Construction Contracts.
- Strong organizational (both written and oral) communication and public relations skills.
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Membership in the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of B.C.
- Membership in the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of B.C.
- Completion of courses related to construction inspection and project management.

The annual salary for this position is with a pay grade system starting at $127,517.65 ranging to $138,144.63. The City offers a comprehensive benefit package including generous vacation and an Earned Days Off program. Along with these benefits, the City provides access to fitness facilities, various instructed programs, and community volunteer/engagement opportunities. This is an exempt Management position.
