Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Office Manager at our Head Office (Toronto) and Operations Manager in Regina, SK, the Office/Yard Laborer undertakes administrative tasks as well as ensuring that the operations staff has adequate resources and support to work efficiently. This includes working closely with operations, procurement, and other administrative teams.
· Answer, screen, and forward all incoming calls or inquiries, answer and follow up with all email inquiries.
· Perform office tasks, such as filing, printing, scanning, and copying.
· Must have great customer service experience.
· Review, sign-off and validate waterwork and material forms with subcontractors and FER-PAL employees.
· Track inventory such as PPE, equipment and any other materials that may be required for field staff.
· Receive packing slips and invoices.
· Running overhead skid steer, backhoe, and forklift.
· Picking and packaging material according to customer specifications.
· Operation of saw equipment and various other machinery types.
· Loading and unloading trucks.
· Performing daily preventative maintenance.
· Ensuring quality customer service.
· Able to perform some heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
· Willing to work shifts
· Perform other general support/clerical duties and various tasks as required.
· Maintain office supplies.
· Maintain the literature shelf.
· General Shop/yard house keeping and maintenance including snow plowing operations.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
. Grade 12 or equivalent.
· Good knowledge of math and measurements.
· Good communication skills
· Self motivated, results oriented.
· Must have own vehicle.
· Class 1 license would be an asset.
Pay: From $26.50 per hour
