Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Immigration Assistant to join our team in Downtown Montreal. The successful candidate will support immigration case processing, client communications, document preparation, and administrative tasks related to immigration applications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize immigration application packages and supporting documents.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates and required documentation.
- Maintain accurate client records and case files.
- Review documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist with correspondence and follow-ups with government authorities.
- Support the team with administrative and case management duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in immigration services, immigration consulting, or a related field.
- Women are especially encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- English proficiency required; French proficiency is an asset.
Qualifications
- Experience working in an immigration law firm, immigration consultancy, or related environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to client service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
