As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Logistics & Sales Coordinator to support our customers, sales team, and plant operations.
Position Summary
The Logistics & Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting customer order fulfillment, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and providing sales administration support. This role works closely with the Sales Team and Plant Manager to ensure orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and delivered on time.
The successful candidate will be highly organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Logistics & Order Fulfillment
- Manage online order fulfillment for TerraFibre products through sales channels including TerraFibre, Amazon, UFA, and RONA.
- Pick, package, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments from the plant.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including:
- Freight cost quotations.
- Customs documentation.
- Purchase orders, bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and related shipping documents.
- Communicate shipment requirements and updates with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing orders to ensure accuracy and product standards are maintained.
Sales & Customer Support
- Support the Sales Team and Plant Manager with customer order coordination, freight quoting and sampling.
- Provide customers with updates regarding order status, inventory availability, and shipping timelines.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide required documentation.
- Assist with sales administration, customer records, and order-related activities.
Inventory & Facility Coordination
- Complete bi-weekly and month-end inventory counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory tracking.
- Maintain the shipping bay and inventory areas, including organization, cleaning, storage, and freight staging.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in sales coordination, customer service, order processing, logistics, or administrative support is an asset.
- Strong customer service, communication, attention to detail, organizational and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, considered an asset.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, production, logistics, and accounting teams.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
- Professional and responsive when communicating with customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Forklift and/or electric pallet jack experience considered an asset.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 40 pounds.
