Cleanr Property Maintenance is a growing lawn care, fertilization, and snow removal company serving Winnipeg and the surrounding area.
We're looking for an Operations Manager to lead our field operations, develop our people, improve our systems, and help scale the business to the next level.
This is not a dispatcher role.
This is not a desk job.
This is not a position for someone who simply wants to maintain the status quo.
We're looking for a leader who wants ownership, accountability, and the opportunity to build something meaningful.
The right person will be responsible for the performance, profitability, quality, and culture of our field operations. They will lead our crews, solve problems, improve systems, develop future leaders, and ensure we consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience.
As the company grows, this role will grow with it.
About the Role
The Operations Manager is responsible for the leadership and performance of all field operations.
You will oversee daily production, staffing, scheduling, customer service, quality control, and operational improvement while building a positive and accountable team culture.
Success in this role means balancing profitability, efficiency, quality, and culture. We are not looking for someone who can hit numbers at the expense of people or customer experience. We are looking for someone who can deliver results while developing a strong team and creating loyal customers.
This position reports directly to the President.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, and develop field employees.
- Build and maintain a positive, accountable, and professional workplace culture.
- Lead daily morning meetings and ongoing coaching conversations.
- Hold team members accountable to company standards and expectations.
- Address performance issues professionally and promptly.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Protect and strengthen our culture through hiring, coaching, and accountability.
Operations Management
- Oversee all day-to-day field operations.
- Manage scheduling, routing, dispatching, and crew assignments.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.
- Support field staff and remove obstacles that impact performance.
- Monitor production performance and solve operational challenges.
- Ensure crews have the tools, equipment, and support they need to succeed.
Customer Experience
- Resolve customer concerns and service issues.
- Uphold our service guarantees.
- Ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.
- Build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
- Protect and strengthen the company's reputation.
Staffing & Team Development
- Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train employees.
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Manage staffing levels to support operational demands.
- Develop systems that improve onboarding, training, and retention.
- Build a team capable of supporting future company growth.
Systems & Continuous Improvement
- Improve operational systems, processes, and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and quality.
- Develop scalable systems that support future growth.
- Improve training, quality control, safety, and operational workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Financial Performance
- Manage labour efficiency and production performance.
- Monitor and improve gross margin performance.
- Ensure production targets are achieved.
- Control operational costs while maintaining quality standards.
- Make decisions that support long-term profitability.

Required
- Leadership experience managing people and teams.
- Experience in lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, construction, trades, or similar service-based industries.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
