This is a regular, part time role supporting Cormorant Island Community Health Centre in Alert Bay, Eagle Ridge Manor in Port Hardy, and Yucalta Lodge in Campbell River, BC. Travel between multiple sites is a regular requirement.

What You’ll Do
The Clinical Nurse Educator supports nurses across Island Health or within an assigned clinical program or service area to strengthen clinical practice. The role develops, delivers and evaluates education, practice strategies and clinical resources that promote high-quality nursing care.
Drawing on expertise in nursing practice, adult education, curriculum development, evaluation, organizational change and research, the Clinical Nurse Educator provides leadership, consultation and role modelling. The position fosters a positive learning environment and supports the continued advancement of professional nursing practice.
Travel is required. Transportation must meet Island Health’s operational requirements and may include the use of a personal vehicle.
What You’ll Need to Apply
- Current registration (or eligibility) with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- Three to five years of recent experience, including two years' relevant clinical experience.
- Valid BC Driver's License.
