Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Maker/Kitchen Helper to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves preparing delicious pizzas, assisting with food preparation, and supporting the overall kitchen operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, food safety, and delivering excellent customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and assemble pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and maintaining ingredient stations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently for cooking and meal assembly
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and proper food handling procedures
- Support the team during busy hours by serving customers when needed and ensuring timely order completion
- Follow all food safety regulations and standards to ensure high-quality food production
- Restock supplies and ingredients as required to keep the kitchen well-organized and prepared for service
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Basic serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to assist colleagues as needed
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is highly valued
- Good communication skills and attention to detail in meal preparation and food safety practices
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
