Position
We are currently looking for a Cabinet Service Technician to service in and around the Ottawa region. We are seeking an ambitious self-starter who has hands-on skills to provide quality assistance to our builder clients . Essential duties, responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties/Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
· Repairing damaged products if possible, or assisting with replacing products if necessary.
· Installing crown moulding and other accessories.
· Applying touch-up paint to kitchen and bathroom cabinet products where required.
· Troubleshooting and repairing any mechanical aspects of the cabinets such as hinges and drawer rails.
· Other duties as required.
Skills/Requirements include, but are not limited to the following:
.Recently finished a woodworking program at a post secondary level.
· Previous woodworking / apprectice or service experience is required.
· Ability to read and interpret layouts/blueprints.
· Must have a valid driver’s license (G Class), as you will be required to travel to and from job sites.
· Must possess your own power tools/ hand tools.
· Good people skills and the ability to work in the presence of customers when required.
· Strong listening and communication skills.
** A company vehicle for travel to and from customer homes will be provided, as will supplies such as touch-up paint, screws, etc.**
