Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to join our siding crew. As a labourer, you will assist with the installation and removal of exterior siding, site preparation, clean-up, and general support for skilled tradespeople. This is a physically demanding outdoor job that requires the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of vinyl, wood, aluminum, or fiber cement siding
- Load, unload, and move materials and equipment to job sites
- Prepare and maintain job sites, including setup and clean-up
- Use hand and power tools under supervision
- Measure, cut, and fit materials as directed
- Remove old siding or damaged materials
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Support siding installers and crew leaders as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous construction or siding experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders or scaffolding
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Punctual, dependable, and hardworking
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
