POSITION: CNC machinist
LOCATION: Hamilton, ON
SALARY: $35.00 - $45 per hour
DURATION: Full-Time, Permanent
Overview & Qualifications:
- Machinist Trade Certification &/ or Machinist Red Seal Endorsement required.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Strong ability to read & interpret technical drawings, blueprints, & work instructions.
- Proficiency in setting up & operating manual and CNC machining equipment. (e.g., mills, lathes, drills)
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, & indicators to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Knowledge of machining practices, tooling selection, feeds & speeds, & material properties for various metals & alloys.
- Understanding of shop safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, & safe handling of machinery & materials.
- Experience with quality control processes, part inspection, & documentation of measurements or deviations.
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
