Part-Time Cashier – Bagel Shop
Shift Times:
- Shifts begin as early as 7:30 AM and finish by 4:00 PM.
- Weekend availability is required.
Bagel Shop is proud to be part of the vibrant Riversdale community, serving fresh, handcrafted bagels and hot coffee every day of the week.
We offer freshly baked bagels, breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches, house-made schmears, and grab-and-go options in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Position Summary
We're looking for a reliable, friendly, and energetic Part-Time Cashier to join our team. We want someone who is excited to be part of our team and takes pride in creating a welcoming experience for every customer.

Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer with a friendly smile and positive attitude
- Take customer orders and process payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system
- Pack and organize customer orders accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, front counter, and workstations
- Restock retail items and supplies as needed
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back
Qualifications

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing light lifting
- Previous customer service or restaurant experience is an asset, but not required—we're happy to train the right person.
Schedule
- Part-time
- Shifts start as early as 7:30 AM and end by 4:00 PM
- Availability on weekdays and weekends is required
- Shop hours are 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, seven days a week
