Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. The Delivery Driver will also assist with heavy lifting and warehouse tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any changes.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at delivery sites.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks (up to 50 pounds).
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Forklift certification is desirable but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
