We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety regulations. Duties
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for local and regional freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment as needed
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance records
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Assist in securing freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related fields preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures for heavy equipment operation
- Excellent time management skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules
- Ability to work independently and handle physically demanding tasks as needed
