We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Food Service Supervisor\Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team.
As Food Service Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in developing personalized nutrition plans, conducting assessments, and educating clients on the importance of nutrition in achieving their health goals. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
- Create nutritionally balanced menus
- Place and receive food orders
- Meet budgeted targets
- Oversee & manage Dietary staff
- Schedule staff
- Replace staff as needed
- Act as part of a management team
As Housekeeping Supervisor you will oversee cleanliness in the home. You will oversee housekeepers, interact with public health and complete audits.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the cleanliness of the home meets standards
- Create job routines
- Place and receive cleaning supply orders
- Meet budgeted targets
- Oversee & manage Housekeeping staff including audits
- Schedule staff
- Replace staff as needed
- Act as part of a management team
Experience
- A background in food service is a must
- One year of Management experience
- Experience in Housekeeping is a plus
- Experience in working in a unionized environment would be nice
