At Richmond Packaging we provide a wide range of plain or printed bags. We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator to join our operations team. This is a full-time, permanent position located in our manufacturing plant in Burnaby, BC.
Schedule: 08-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
The Material Handler has the general responsibility of organizing and managing the stock inventory and will be in charge of the Inter-departmental flow of raw and semi finished materials. The Shipper/Receiver is designated to assist the Shipping/Receiving Manager and will have opportunities for skill enhancement and development through on-the-job-training.
General Responsibilities
- Organize and manage stock items in the warehouse.
- Properly catalog and put away new stock products.
- Order picking for stock orders.
- In charge of inter-department flow of raw material and Work-In-Progress every morning.
- Responsible for keeping the finished goods off the production floors.
Skills and Qualifications
- Shipping/warehouse experience required.
- Good English skills required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Valid forklift operator license is required.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
- Must currently be living in Vancouver/Lower Mainland area.
