Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced construction professional (man or woman) with a minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience, including leading crews and coordinating site activities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy, communicates clearly, and can be trusted to run day‑to‑day project operations under the guidance of the Superintendent.
You’ll be the go‑to person on site — ensuring crews stay productive, safety standards are met, and work is completed to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews on commercial job sites
- Coordinate daily tasks, manpower, and subcontractors
- Work closely with the Superintendent to plan and execute project schedules
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site
- Communicate effectively with team members, trades, and management
- Troubleshoot site issues and make decisions independently when required
- Track progress, report updates, and support project documentation
- Mentor junior workers and promote a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience
- Proven experience running crews or acting as a lead hand/foreman
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high‑quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Safety certifications (e.g., CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid) considered an asset

Pay: $22.00-$45.00 per hour
