Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscaper for one of our companies in North York. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment to create and maintain beautiful landscapes.
Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and fertilizing to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for grading, digging, and site preparation
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, edging, and other landscaping activities
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with construction projects related to landscape architecture, including setting foundations and building features
- Apply horticultural knowledge to select appropriate plants and manage soil health
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
Experience
- Prior experience with landscape maintenance or gardening is a MUST
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as excavators, trimmers, and irrigation systems is desirable
- Hands-on experience with hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (drills, saws) used in landscape construction and maintenance
- Familiarity with construction practices related to outdoor projects is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks
Shift starts at 6:45 am in the morning.

The payrate is based upon experience.
