Lodge Support Worker (Housekeeping & Dietary Support)

We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented Lodge Support Worker to assist with housekeeping and dietary duties. This role helps maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while supporting meal service. The ideal candidate is professional, adaptable, and committed to high standards of service.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties:
- Maintain lodge cleanliness in accordance with cleaning, hygiene, and infection control procedures.
- Provide laundry and linen services following proper sanitation standards.
- Ensure chemicals are properly used, labeled, and stored.
- Accept deliveries and assist with inventory control.
- Follow safe work practices and procedures at all times.
Dietary / Kitchen Support Duties:
- Prepare dining room for meal service.
- Serve residents in a courteous and respectful manner.
- Clear and sanitize tables and equipment.
- Ensure beverage machines are filled appropriately.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen workspaces, and equipment.
- Monitor food wastage and report concerns.
- Observe and document changes in residents’ eating habits as required.
- Ensure adherence to sanitation programs and Safe Food Handling Practices.
- Support proper storage of supplies and inventory control processes.
General Responsibilities:
- Promote safety, cooperation, and teamwork with staff and management.
- Adhere to the Foundation’s Occupational Health & Safety plan and all organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year of related experience
- Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently overnight
Certifications (Required or Willing to Obtain)
- Food Safe, WHMIS, First Aid

Schedule:
- Rotating shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends to ensure 24/7 resident service coverage
Physical Requirements:
- Moderate physical activity including standing, bending, lifting, carrying, and moving light items
