Position Overview
Merrithew is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager, Digital Transformation to lead large-scale business and technology initiatives focused on enterprise systems modernization, operational improvement, and digital transformation.
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role will play a key leadership function in Merrithew’s transformation journey, driving strategic initiatives from discovery through implementation.
The ideal candidate brings strong project delivery leadership combined with hands-on business analysis and operational process improvement experience. This individual must have direct experience leading complex ERP transformation and business optimization initiatives within manufacturing and consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments, including cross-functional process redesign, systems integration, and organizational change management.
This role is suited for a strategic yet hands-on leader who thrives in complex environments, brings clarity to evolving initiatives, and drives measurable business outcomes through scalable process and technology transformation.

Lead complex digital transformation initiatives across multiple business functions and workstreams.

Manage projects through all phases including discovery, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and organizational adoption.

Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.

Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Support transformation roadmaps, governance structures, and executive reporting.

Drive organizational readiness, process standardization, and operational change management activities.

Lead stakeholder workshops and discovery sessions to gather business requirements, workflows, pain points, and success criteria.

Translate operational needs into structured business and functional requirements.

Analyze current-state processes and define scalable future-state operating models.

Identify opportunities for operational improvement, workflow optimization, and system modernization.

Support enterprise platform evaluations including ERP, CRM, reporting, and operational systems.

Develop clear process documentation using methodologies such as BPMN, swim lanes, SIPOC, or RACI.

Partner with business leaders and technical teams to align priorities, scope, and delivery expectations.

Facilitate discussions that create clarity, drive decisions, and build stakeholder alignment.

Communicate effectively with executive leadership, operational teams, and technology stakeholders.

Ensure initiatives maintain strong governance, traceability, and operational continuity.

7 to 10 years of experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives.

Proven hands-on experience delivering complex ERP transformation or enterprise modernization projects, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Strong experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, and business units.

Demonstrated success leading organizational change, process transformation, and operational improvement initiatives.

Experience working in environments with evolving processes, systems, and governance structures.

Strong project management, planning, and execution capabilities.

Excellent business analysis and requirements gathering skills.

Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery execution.

Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience documenting and improving end-to-end business processes.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Understanding of enterprise platforms such as ERP, MRP, CRM, e-commerce, reporting, and analytics systems.

Familiarity with system integrations, enterprise data flows, and operational scalability concepts.

Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Fabric, Dynamics, or Azure is considered an asset.

SQL literacy and data analysis experience are considered assets.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
