Your Role:
- On-Site Host: Show up with enthusiasm and your Boating Ontario gear to engage with fellow boaters and water enthusiasts. Share your knowledge stories and experiences to motivate others to join in and get on the water.
- Brand Champion: Proudly represent Boating Ontario by sharing information, connecting with people and making sure our presence leaves a lasting impression.
- Dockside Messenger: Bring forward insights gathered in the field to on-site event coordinator to help shape better programs and ideas.
- Equipment Guru: Manage and maintain promotional materials and event equipment, ensuring everything is in top condition for each event.
Who We're Looking For:
- Outgoing Personality & Interpersonal Skills: You’re confident starting conversations, building rapport quickly, and creating a welcoming, approachable presence in any setting.
- Fast Thinking, Fun Going, Action Doing: You thrive in dynamic, fast-paced event environments where no two moments are the same. You think quickly on your feet, stay upbeat and energetic in every interaction
- · Ready to Set Sail: Must have reliable transportation and enjoy the excitement of traveling to new places and discovering new environments. Some overnight stays required in this role.
- High-Energy & Always One Step Ahead: You’re able to manage multiple tasks with ease and embrace new challenges with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- Educational Background: High School Diploma is a great asset! If you’re studying post-secondary event planning, business, or similar, even better!

Please note: This role is funded by Canada Summer Jobs program. Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) is a program under the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) designed to help youth gain paid summer work experience and develop skills for the job market.
Pay: $19.00 per hour
