Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
- Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple tasks effectively
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
- Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
