Job Summary
White Glove Contracting is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter with a strong knowledge and understanding of finish carpentry and siding assemblies. This role is "on the tools" with the possibility to advance into a leadership/field manager role in time. We value quality over quantity and expect that to reflect in the work we do for our clients in Campbell River and Comox Valley.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Proven experience with siding and finish carpentry projects.
- Understanding of architectural plans and detailed drawings.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience with various siding assemblies and finish carpentry components.
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and working at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Own hand tools/pouch.
Assets (not required)
- Experience working on multi-family projects.
- Carpentry certification.
- Fall protection certification.
- Lift ticket / aerial platform certification.
