On behalf of our Client, a large manufacturing company of plastic products, we are looking for
Converting Operators.
This opportunity is a direct-hire placement with our Client.
Job Duties
- Operate assigned machinery as an individual or alongside teammates
- Performs quality checks every 15 min. on the products that are being produced (Size, look, defect, etc.)
- Makes minor adjustments to the machinery as required.
- Disposes of their waste in the proper location (s).
- Demonstrates safe work procedures at all the times.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Basic Computer Skills
- Ability to read basic measurements instruments
Working Conditions
- Twelve (12) hour shifts
- This role requires successful candidates to follow a rotating schedule of shifts
- A rotation of one (1) month of day shifts, followed by one (1) month of overnight shifts
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- Changing environmental conditions (hot/cold). What’s in it for you?
- $19.53/hour starting rate, incrementally increasing to $20.93/hour when fully trained (1 year)
