About the Role
Park Inn by Radisson is seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Front Office Agent / Night Auditor to join our team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while assisting with front desk operations during the day, evening, and overnight shifts. The successful candidate will ensure guests have a positive experience while maintaining accurate financial records during the night audit process.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Complete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Answer telephone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
- Process reservations and update guest information using the property management system.
- Handle cash, credit card, and debit transactions accurately.
- Balance daily revenue and complete the night audit process.
- Generate and distribute daily reports.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain an organized and clean front desk area.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest requests.
- Conduct routine security walks around the property during overnight shifts.
- Follow hotel safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience is an asset.
- Night audit experience is considered an asset but is not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working independently, particularly during overnight shifts.
- Basic computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems is an asset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Schedule
- Day, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays as required.
- 8-hour shifts.
- Flexible availability is preferred.
