Big Hearts Home Healthcare is looking for health care aides to start work immediately. We service injured workers, accident victims, discharged patients and others. This position will be within the local area and applicants are encouraged to drive to commute to client homes. Applicants are invited to apply and interviews will be held end of this week.
This role involves medication administration and personal support during morning and evening shifts, along with light homemaking and participation in an outreach program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meal preparation and nutrition support
- Light housekeeping and homemaking duties
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living space
- Consult with care manager on activities, needs and problems related to client care
- Utilize observation skills to note changes in client's condition
- Encourage participation in activity programs by assisting clients
- Provide emotional and social support to clients/families including palliative care
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, and environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Regular lifting and moving clients, equipment and supplies
- Reliable vehicle and clean drivers abstract
- Driver's License(Class -5)
- Certified Health Care Assistant (HCA) or equivalent experience
- Experience working with TBI, epilepsy, or complex care needs preferred
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Criminal Record Check
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
Schedule:
- Minimum of three hours per visit.
- Must be available Saturdays or Sundays as well
- Afternoon/ evening availability required.

Pay: From $26.00 per hour
