Duties
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety policies aligned with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and workplace inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
- Deliver engaging training sessions on safety procedures, emergency response, and best practices to all employees.
- Collaborate with management to integrate safety protocols into daily operations, especially within manufacturing processes.
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations, prepare reports for regulatory agencies, and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness through communication campaigns, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
- Proven experience in a concrete formwork for highrise construction environment with a strong understanding of industry-specific safety standards.
- Excellent training & development skills to effectively educate staff on safety procedures and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills for conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and data analysis.
- Exceptional communication abilities to engage diverse teams and foster a positive safety culture.
- Ability to lead change management initiatives related to health and safety improvements.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and compliance requirements at local, state, or national levels.
