Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, food service, and delivering outstanding guest experiences. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with food safety standards are highly valued. The position involves working in a fast-paced environment where excellent communication, time management, and multitasking skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Provide guest services that exceed expectations, addressing any concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation guidelines
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Experience in food handling, food preparation, or kitchen operations is advantageous
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
