Champion Staffing is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and reliable Inventory & Order Desk Clerk to join our client’s team in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating daily operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring orders and inventory processes run smoothly.
As an Inventory & Order Desk Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting order processing, inventory management, documentation, and communication between customers, warehouse teams, and transportation partners. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, solving problems efficiently, and delivering excellent administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Process customer orders accurately and enter information into internal inventory systems
- Maintain accurate inventory records by verifying product movements and system updates
- Monitor inventory flow and ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures are followed
- Track shortages, adjustments, and discrepancies while communicating updates to relevant teams
- Investigate and resolve order, product, and inventory-related issues
- Prepare picking, loading, shipping, and receiving documentation
- Coordinate appointment requests with receiving warehouses and transportation partners
- Support logistics coordination and communicate operational changes with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare and verify daily reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Provide administrative support and assist with additional tasks as required
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative, inventory, order desk, or similar role
- Previous experience providing excellent customer service
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset
