Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Finance/Operations Manager and Accounting Technician in an accounting/bookkeeping role.
- Provide A/P and A/R support using Sage 50 Accounting Software
- Assist with payroll for all employees including benefit administration as directed by finance team
-Assist with year-end preparation as requested
- Assist with financial reporting as requested by finance team
- Filing, organizing and administrative duties as required
- Adhere to the Greater North Foundation Policies and Procedures
Qualifications/Skills:
- Graduation from a post-secondary accounting program is an asset.
- Previous experience with accounting software (Sage) would be an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years bookkeeping related experience
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $30.39 per hour
