Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and excellent driving skills, as well being able to work alone and multi tasks situations. Propane experience would be helpful but will train the exceptional candidate. Training wage $25 per hour and Signing Bonus $1000
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport propane to designated customers in Lake Louise. Monday - Friday
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Operate hydraulic propane delivery system.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo information.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
- Loading at refineries as needed.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle when necessary.
- Truck housekeeping is a must.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair to address minor vehicle issues.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers.
- Ability to work extremely independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
