Who We Are:
Pacific Rim Engineered Products (PREP), a Wikov Company, is a growing provider of high‑quality, reliable, and innovative engineered solutions. Role:
The Technical Sales Representative develops and manages sales opportunities from first contact through quotation and close. You will identify opportunities, visit customers, prepare technical and commercial quotes with the internal team, and carry deals to the finish. The territory centres on Western Canada and can expand based on the individual and the opportunity, including support to our Houston operation. This is a hands on role for a capable salesperson who is comfortable both in front of customers and in the detail of a technical quote. PREP is hiring more than one person into this role and welcomes candidates across a range of experience levels.
This role involves regular travel and in person customer contact.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities across the assigned territory.
- Visit customers, build relationships, and represent PREP in a professional manner.

- Serve as a point of contact for your accounts and respond to customer enquiries.
- Manage opportunities through the pipeline and keep records current in company systems.
- Support the United States opportunities as needed.
- Represent PREP at trade shows and industry events.
- Meet and work to exceed agreed sales targets.
Requirements:
- Experience in technical, industrial, or engineered product sales, or a strong technical background with the drive to move into sales.
- A track record of building relationships and closing, not only prospecting.
- Comfortable preparing or reading estimates and technical quotes.
- Familiarity with machine shop processes, bearings, and rotating equipment is an asset.
- Experience in oil and gas, turbomachinery, or heavy industry is an asset.
