Strawberry Vale Child Care is looking to hire out of school care leaders. Shifts are
Monday - Friday
Morning shift (7am - 9am) 2 Hours a day = 10 hours a week.
OR
Afternoon shift (2:30 - 5:30pm) 3 hours a day = 15 hours a week.
Requirements are:
1) Must be 19 years of age or older
2) Must have 20 hours of childcare related courses (child development, guidance, health and safety, or nutrition) or taken the Responsible Adult Online Course
3) Must hold a valid first aid certificate
4) Must submit to a criminal record check
Experience working with children in a recreational setting is a definite asset.

Salary: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Mon to Fri
- No weekends
- 2 Weeks off at Christmas Dec 18 -Jan 4 2026 (unpaid)
- 2 Weeks off at Spring Break March 12 - March 31st 2027 (unpaid)
Experience:
- min of year of work experience with children between ages of 4-11 years old
Part-Time Only
Please note: this is a permanent part-time position and will not transition into a full-time role. This position is best suited for someone who is:
- Currently attending university or college, or
- An international student who is limited to 24 hours of work per week.
- Simply prefers a short, consistent schedule.
