BroadbandTV (BBTV) is a global media-tech company at the forefront of digital video content creation, distribution, and monetization. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our sales engine. This multifaceted position is tasked with spearheading our lead generation initiatives, managing the pipeline and CRM to ensure prospective partners are moving through the pipeline, quickly and effectively, coordinating with stakeholders throughout the company to ensure deliverables and action items are followed through on expeditiously and accurately and supporting core stakeholders in drafting communications and follow ups. This role is critical for maintaining a streamlined and effective sales pipeline.
This is a Hybrid position based in Vancouver, BC with two days in-office.
Manage and update ClickUp and the CRM to ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for meetings, follow-ups, and contract negotiations, ensuring that followups and deliverables are always immediate.
Work closely with the leadership team to prioritize leads and opportunities.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of lead generation and sales operations activities.
Generate regular reports on lead conversion rates, speed of follow-ups, and other operational metrics.
Manage lead generation including identifying key contacts and drafting and scheduling reach outs.
Own and manage deferred opportunities through a specialized nurturing funnel. Periodically re-engage to assess timing and fit, ensuring long-term opportunities are not overlooked.
Work closely with the sales team to create accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly dashboards and reports to internal stakeholders summarizing sales activities and pipeline status.
Work closely with the Business Development Strategist to ensure that the pipeline is always fully active and partners are being engaged with in a timely manner.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales operations roles, or similar, preferably in a business development or sales environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Eager to leverage AI to streamline processes and optimize output
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience with CRM software (e.g., ClickUp) for managing client relationships and business development activities.
Knowledge of business development processes, strategies, and best practices.
Familiarity with market research and data analysis techniques.
Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
