We are seeking a Designer to join a major Fashion Manufacturer in Montreal!
Permanent position, full-time.
Responsibilities
- Conduct trend research and develop mood boards
- Create detailed technical sketches and comprehensive tech packs, including flat sketches, fabric details, and trim specifications.
- Measure and analyze development and production samples for accuracy.
- Assist in garment fittings to ensure proper fit and design execution.
- Communicate and follow up with overseas factories on fit issues and garment construction, ensuring design integrity.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in a similar role,
- Diploma in Fashion Design.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must have athleisure experience
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel,
